At Taruca Adventure Gear, we strive to provide fast, reliable shipping and clear communication throughout the delivery process. Please review the following information regarding order processing, shipping methods, transit times, freight deliveries, and shipping protection.
ORDER PROCESSING
Most in-stock orders are processed within one to three (1–3) business days after payment has been received and verified.
Orders are generally processed Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.
During periods of high demand, product launches, promotions, trade shows, severe weather events, or unforeseen circumstances, processing times may be extended.
Customers will receive tracking information once their order has been shipped.

ROOFTOP TENT DELIVERIES
Rooftop tents are typically shipped via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight carriers due to their size and weight.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:

The delivery address is accessible by freight truck.

Someone is available to inspect and receive the shipment.

The shipment is inspected before signing the delivery receipt.
If visible freight damage exists:

Note all damage on the carrier's paperwork.

Photograph the damage.

Refuse delivery if severe damage is present.

Contact Taruca Adventure Gear immediately.
Failure to document visible freight damage at delivery may affect claim eligibility.
AWNING DELIVERIES
Awnings may be shipped using parcel carriers or freight carriers depending on size and destination.
Upon delivery:

Inspect the packaging carefully.

Photograph any visible damage.

Notify Taruca Adventure Gear within twenty-four (24) hours if damage is discovered.
Claims for transit damage may be limited if damage is not reported promptly.
PRE-ORDER PRODUCTS
Certain products may be offered on a pre-order basis.
Estimated shipping dates displayed on product pages are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

SHIPPING PROTECTION (ROUTE)
At checkout, customers may have the option to purchase Route Shipping Protection.
Route Shipping Protection helps protect eligible shipments against:

Theft after delivery

Damage during transit
If Route Shipping Protection has been purchased, Taruca Adventure Gear will assist in handling the claim process on the customer's behalf.
Customers must notify Taruca Adventure Gear promptly and provide all requested documentation, including:

Photos of the shipping label showing the tracking number and delivery address

Photos of all sides of the packaging

Photos of any damage to the packaging
-
Photos of the packing materials inside the carton

Photos of any damage to the product
-
Order number and description of the issue
All packaging materials and damaged products must be retained until the claim has been fully reviewed and resolved.
Claims remain subject to Route's terms, conditions, coverage limitations, and approval process.
While Taruca Adventure Gear will assist with claim administration, final claim determinations remain subject to Route's review and approval.
DAMAGE DURING TRANSIT
If your shipment arrives damaged:

Inspect the shipment immediately upon delivery.

Take photographs before unpacking whenever possible.

Notify Taruca Adventure Gear within twenty-four (24) hours.

Retain all packaging materials and damaged products.

Provide all requested documentation for claim processing.
Required documentation may include:

Photos of all sides of the box

Photos of packaging damage

Photos of internal packing materials

Photos of product damage

Order information
Failure to provide required documentation or retain packaging materials may result in denial of the claim by the carrier or shipping protection provider.
